on my Karoq if you press the boot key once it unlocks the boot but doesn’t power open, you have to hold the boot button in on the key fob for a few seconds before the power function works. They boot will stop if there is an obstruction, but might scratch the paint if it was a brick wall. thats good to know, sensible.
